Jim McCormack is an accomplished global supply chain leader in life sciences with an operations-focused finance background. At Hologic, he has over ten years of experience working extensively within the Costa Rica medical device sector. Areas of expertise include negotiating large complex supply agreements, plastics, and sterilization. During the pandemic, McCormack managed the scale-up of key suppliers that were instrumental in Hologic becoming one of the largest suppliers of molecular COVID-19 tests in the world. He has directed diverse global teams including procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier quality, and planning. Prior to Hologic, McCormack was responsible for Manufacturing Finance at a division of Parker Hannifin where he developed deep expertise in lean manufacturing. Jim has an MBA and an undergraduate degree in accounting from Bentley University.
