Mónica Umaña brings over a decade of experience in foreign direct investment. She has successfully led the establishment of numerous multinational companies in Costa Rica and has played a key role in supporting their growth and expansion. Her expertise spans strategic guidance throughout the investment decision-making process and long-term operational development. Prior to joining PROCOMER, Umaña held several roles in the communications field. She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and is a recipient of the prestigious King of Spain International Journalism Award for her outstanding work in journalism.
